Remember these magnificent sculptures that popped up on the Leeds Piano Trail in Leeds 2021? Each was conceived and constructed by Pianodrome, a team of dynamic creatives who dismantle and repurpose abandoned pianos destined for landfill.
In a collaborative, precursor to the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition, Matt and Tim from the Pianodrome collective are dropping in on Monday for an evening of invention, and you are invited! |
| In 'Piano Dissection', they plan to dismember another relic to fabricate a new work of art before our eyes, and there may be some music thrown in too for good measure. A fitting requiem for a piano. |
