German Late Renaissance style, 1896, Pfaffe upright piano for sale with a walnut case, mock roll top piano fall and barley twist legs. Cabinet features an openwork panel that acts as a sound box. Entire cabinet covered with ornate carvings of anthemions, shells, acanthus, strapwork and flowers. Piano is unique and was exibited in the German Industrial and Art Fair in Berlin 1896. |
