The transparent, Altuglass piano lid and music desk allows the instrument and action to be visible. This piano is from the show-stopping "Plexart" Collection, each one numbered and signed by their creator. With various options on case styling and LED lighting each piano is a unique, luxurious, artistic creation. This piano is available to order at our Leeds showroom.

Description:
The SY 170 piano has a tight-veined spruce soundboard and laminated maple pinblock. The keys are made of basswood, most of the action parts are maple. The middle and treble strings are from Roslau. The bass strings are hand spun and the pins are made from nickel. The felts are made in France or Germany. The hammers are chosen amongst the very best according to the desired timbre or tone: Renner (German) / Abel (German), FFW (German), or Japanese. Stainless steel and Altuglass used for the outer components do nothing to impair its sound; quite the opposite. Production is limited to a few dozen pianos per year..
