| Leeds International Piano Competition 2006 : 06 to 24 September 2006 |

- The 2006, Fifteenth Leeds International Pianoforte Competition welcomes professional pianists from around 40 countries.
- The Competition will consist of four stages, the first three taking place at Great Hall, University of Leeds and the finals at Leeds Town Hall.
- First Stage - Wednesday 6 - Sunday 10 September - 10.00am, 2.30pm & 7.00pm
- Second Stage - Tuesday 12 - Friday 15 September - 9.30am, 2.30pm & 7.00pm
- Semi Finals - Sunday 17 - Tuesday 19 September - 2.30pm & 7.00pm
- Final Gala Concerts -Friday 22 - Saturday 23 September - 7.30pm & 6.00pm respectively.
- Gala Recital - Sunday 24 September - 3.00pm
- Tickets for all four stages will be on sale from MONDAY 10th JULY 2006 at the City Centre Box Office, Carriageworks, Millennium Square, Leeds LS 3DN.

The BBC big piano party, Pianos Everywhere, is taking place this month, alongside the Leeds International Piano Competition. |
| On Friday 22 September, there will be an a number of pianos in various locations throughout the city available for you to play on.
